Playa de Muro Attractions

Playa de Muro offers many attractions, ideal for nature lovers, as a large part of the area is protected. Its calm and crystal clear waters are also ideal for families with small children, as the beach area is quiet and the type of visitor is not like the visitor to Palma beach.

The beach of Muro is connected to the beach of Alcúdia and also shares the dune area of the Albufera de Mallorca. It is one of the longest beaches on the Balearic Islands, with an area of 5.5 km. It is divided into 4 sections: Muro Beach – zone 1, Muro Beach – zone 2, Muro Beach – Es Común and Muro Beach – Es Capellans. The 4 beaches are located in the municipality of Muro and, above all, Muro Beach is only one kilometre from Can Picafort and 10.6 kilometres from the village of Muro. The beach section in the Es Capellans area is a natural area of unique interest (ANEI).
